Woman commits 'suicide' in Ctg

A woman allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Chittagong city yesterday morning.

The deceased is Rita, 25, wife of Md Mahmud, a government employee.

A family member found her hanging from the ceiling of her residence in Segun Bagan area and brought her to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, said Assistant Sub-inspector Alauddin Talukdar of CMCH police outpost.

The body was sent for an autopsy, said SI Helal of Khulshi Police Station.
