Vietnamese president arrives today

Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang will arrive in Bangladesh today on a three-day visit to the country.
Quang, accompanied by a business delegation, will interact with Bangladeshi businessmen tomorrow afternoon.
They will discuss several issues such as economic, trade and investment cooperation, agriculture, education and training, and strengthening defence and security ties.
The two countries are also expected to sign around half a dozen of agreements.
Diplomatic sources said, during the visit, Dhaka will seek Vietnam's support in resolving the Rohingya crisis.
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali will call on the president today at Sonargaon Hotel where Quang will stay.
Quang will place wreaths at National Memorial in Savar and at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum tomorrow. The Vietnamese president will hold official talks with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office at 10:00am tomorrow.
Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon and the FBCCI president will call on the visiting president separately at the hotel tomorrow.
The Vietnamese president will meet President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban at 7:00pm tomorrow.
On Tuesday, the head of Bangladesh-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry will call on Tran Dai Quang. The Vietnamese president will address a session at Vietnam-Bangladesh Business Forum and also attend the opening ceremony of “Vietnam Cultural Days in Bangladesh” on that day. He will depart Dhaka at 3:00pm on Tuesday.
