UPDF member killed in Rangamati

Unidentified miscreants yesterday killed a member of the United People Democratic Front (UPDF) at Headman para in Naniarchhar upazila.

The deceased was Jhony Tanchangya, 35.

Shanti Deb Chakma, UPDF organiser in the district, accused Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJSS) of the killing. Denying the allegations, PCJSS blamed the murder on internal clashes of UPDF.
