Two Rohingya refugees held with 3,000 Yaba pills in Ctg
Two Rohingyas, who fled into the country just 15 days ago, were arrested with 3,000 Yaba pills near Firingi Bazar under Kotwali Police Station in Chittagong city yesterday evening.
Md Hasan, 35, escaped from Leda Refugee Camp and Md Elias, 22, fled from Kutupalong Refugee Camp, said Shamim Ahmed, deputy director of the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC), Chittagong metro zone.
Upon information, a DNC team made the arrest after recovering the contraband pills which were hidden inside the rectums of the duo.
A case was filed with Kotwali Police Station.
