Two Jamaat men arrested

Police arrested two activists of Jamaat-e-Islami during overnight raids in two villages of Satkania upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.

The arrestees are Nezam Uddin, 42, and Shahadat Hossain, 22.

The arrestees were accused in three cases filed with Satkania Police Station over vandalism and attacks on on-duty police personnel in the upazila in 2013, said Rafiqul Hossain, officer-in-charge of the police station.
