Two commit suicide for failing HSC exam

Two females committed suicide after hearing that they failed this year's HSC examinations in Naogaon and Jessore on Thursday, said police.

Our Dinajpur correspondent reports, Santa Rani, 17, daughter of Dulal Chandra, hanged herself from a ceiling fan in her Chawkdurgarampur village house in Patnitola upazila of Naogaon.

A correspondent from Jessore adds, Rimi Das, 22, wife of Basudev Das, committed suicide in the same way in her Sundra village house of Monirampur.
