Three killed in road accidents
At least three persons, including a police constable, were killed in road accidents across the country in last two days.
In Savar, police constable William Murdy, 20, died after a passenger bus ran him over on Abdullapur-Baipail highway yesterday, reports our correspondent.
He succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
In Joypurhat, day labourer Rubel Hossain, 20, was killed on spot after a sand-laden trolley he was on overturned in Pathuria village yesterday, police said.
Meanwhile, in Rangpur, Talebul Islam, 42, was killed after being hit by a covered van in front of Rangpur city bus terminal on Saturday, reports our correspondent.
