A Rajshahi court yesterday sent three members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to jail in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act.

They were produced before the Senior Judicial Magistrate's Court with a 10-day remand prayer. Hearing on the remand prayer will be held later, said Tanore police.

Acting on a tip-off on Sunday morning, Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members arrested Sahebjan Ali, 35, Abul Kalam Azad, 28, and Jahangir Alam, 28, in the former's house in Tanore area and recovered many bomb-making materials and books on jihad.

They were shown arrested the same day.
