The 23rd conference of Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities 2017 will begin today at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre in Dhaka.

Themed “Acceptance, accessibility, inclusion: A key towards sustainable development”, the six-day programme will be inaugurated by President Abdul Hamid.

The conference was organised by Society for the Welfare of the Intellectually Disabled, Bangladesh.
