Shahdat Hossain Mridha passes away

Shahdat Hossain Mridha, former secretary of Patuakhali district unit of BNP, died from a cardiac arrest on Monday. He was 66.

He left behind his wife, a son and a daughter.

Mridha was buried at Muslim graveyard in the town after a namaz-e-janaza around 10:00am yesterday.

Local BNP and Awami League leaders, among others, attended the funeral.

The district BNP declared two days of mourning for the death.
