Road crashes kill student, injure 11 SSC candidates

A student of Class-IX was killed and four SSC candidates injured in separate road crashes yesterday.

The deceased Mehedi Hasan, 15, a student of Thakurgaon Government Boys' High School was killed when a bus hit the motorbike he was riding on Thakurgaon-Baliadangi road in Thakurgaon sadar upazila, police said.

A case was filed with Thakurgaon Police Station in this connection.

Meanwhile, 11 SSC examinees were injured when their three-wheeler turned upside-down on Kulkathi-Taltoli road in Nalchity upazila, police said.

Critically injured four students were taken to Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital, while seven others got primary treatment and attended the exam.
