'Right to food congress' held

A "Right to Food Congress" was held at the capital's Krishibid Institution on Sunday.

The speakers focused on formulating a constructive, enforceable legal framework to ensure accountability in the food market so that farmers can get a fair price and consumers can access the essential and nutritious food at an affordable price.

Food Security Network organised the congress, chaired by its Chairperson Dr Mohammad Zainul Abedin, also former country director of IRRI.
