Reconstruct lab building: Poba

With a demand for reconstruction of the century-old laboratory building in the capital's Khamarbari, Poribesh Bachao Andolon (Poba) formed a human chain yesterday.

Leaders and activists of different social, professional and green organisations participated in the event held in front of the Institute of Fine Arts of Dhaka University.

They also demanded punishment for those who demolished the building.

Poba Chairman Abu Naser Khan, its Assistant Secretary MA Wahid, Subandhan Samajik Kalyan Sangathan President Habibur Rahman and Modern Club President Abul Hasanat were also present.
