Prof Muhammed Zafar Iqbal resumed his academic activities at Shahjalal University of Science (SUST) and Technology yesterday.

He told journalists that he will make up for the classes he missed during his treatment.

Meanwhile, security has been beefed up for the professor at his residence and on the SUST campus, Sylhet police said.

On March 14, he visited the campus for a day and spoke to students at the same dais where he came under a knife attack on March 3.
