PN girls' school first ever reunion held
A number of former students of Government PN Girls' High School observed a first-ever reunion at the 149- year-old educational institute in Rajshahi city yesterday.
They shared memories and exchanged views over different affairs of the historic school.
The programmes began with a colourful procession that marched the city streets. Discussions, games and cultural programmes were also held.
The former students took an oath to devote themselves for the development of the country and protecting the rights of women.
Former adviser to a caretaker government, Rasheda K Chowdhury, who is an alumnus, administered the oath.
Another former adviser, Prof Sufia Rahman, also one the former students, attended the programmes.
