Obituary

Fatema Begum, wife of late district judge Anwar Hossain, died of old-age complications yesterday at her Mohammadpur residence in Dhaka, said a press release. She was 87.

She left behind her five sons, six daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death, says a press release.

Fatema's first namaz-e-janaza was held at a mosque near her residence. She will be buried after arrival of her children who live abroad.

Her relatives, friends and well-wishers are requested to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
