Non-MPO teachers stage token hunger strike

Non-MPO teachers staged a token hunger strike in front of Jatiya Press Club yesterday.

The teachers under the banner of “Non-MPO Educational Institution Teachers and Employees' Federation” started their hunger strike around 9:00am and continued till 3:00pm.

After breaking the token hunger strike in the afternoon, they continued the sit-in programme for the 14th consecutive day.

The teachers initially observed the sit-in for half a day every day.
