Rights group urges political parties

They also urged parties not to impede press freedom or freedom of expression.

They welcomed manifestos of Awami League-led grand alliance and Jatiya Oikyafront.

Faruk Ahmed Arif, convener of MWER, read out an evaluation on the manifestos and placed a 12-point recommendation for consideration of the next government.

Their demands include discipline-based employment, interest-free education loan, quality healthcare for rural people and sustainable plan for agriculture sector.
