UNFPA nominates Addl IGP Mokhlesur as 'global champion'

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) yesterday nominated Additional Inspector General of Police Md Mokhlesur Rahman as one of the global champions, for his contribution in preventing violence against women.

Some 16 people from 16 countries, including Mukhlesur, have been nominated as global champions, says a Police Headquarters press release.
