Two killed in road accidents

Two people were killed and another was injured in road accidents yesterday, report our correspondents.

In Dinajpur, a man was killed and another injured as a truck hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw in Birganj's Kalyani. Azizul Islam, 50, died on the spot, said police.

Injured Mohammad Zihad was taken to the local health complex.

In Chattogram, a woman was killed when a lorry hit a human haulier on Dhaka-Ctg highway in Nunachara of Sitakunda.

Noor Banu, 55, died instantly, said Baro Awlia highway police.
