Square Pharma's conference on Feb 9

Some 450 representatives from the government, pharmaceutical industry, scientists, academicians and businessmen will gather on Saturday to discuss the possibilities that drug manufacturers can explore and challenges they may face in expanding their businesses further. 

This will be the fourth time when the country's top drug manufacturer, Square Pharmaceuticals, will organise the event titled “Samson H Chowdhury Memorial Conference”. The conference is being held every two years since 2013, to commemorate the late chairman of Square Group.

The organisers at a press conference at Square Hospital yesterday announced the day-long programme on February 9. 

Three scientists will be given “Samson H Chowdhury Award for Young Scientist” at the event, for their contribution to the pharmaceutical sector.
