Road accidents kill three

Three people were killed in road accidents in two districts yesterday, according to reports from our correspondents.

In Habiganj, two motorcyclists were killed as a truck hit their bike on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in front of Dinarpur Dakhil Madrasa in Nabiganj upazila.

The deceased are Naim Ahmed, 26, from Sataihal village and Shimul Ahmed, 25, from Goznaipur village.

In Thakurgaon, a motorcyclist was killed as his wife injured as a tractor hit their bike on Thakurgaon-Pirganj road at Shibganj village in Sadar upazila, said police.

Abdul Awal, 32, from Gedura Munnatoli village in Haripur upazila, died on the spot.

His wife was undergoing treatment at Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital.
