Road accidents kill four, injure three
Four people were killed and three injured in road accidents in two districts during the last two days, according to reports from our correspondents.
In Mymensingh, a youth was killed and two persons were injured as human haulier fell into a ditch after skidding off Mymensingh-Phulbaria road at Dapunia in Sadar upazila yesterday.
Robi, 26, from the city’s Katakhali was declared dead at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, said police.
In another accident, a battery-run auto-rickshaw driver was killed as the vehicle flipped over on Nandail-Jahangirpur road at Deuldangra on Friday, said police.
In Panchagarh, motorcyclist Md Doulat, 35, was killed and his pillion rider injured after a human haulier and the bike collided head-on on Panchagarh-Banglabandha highway at Charmile Kadamtali in Sadar upazila on Friday.
