President exchanges views with senior journos

President M Abdul Hamid yesterday exchanged views with senior journalists and editors of different print and electronic media at Bangabhaban.

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, Prime Minister's Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, chief editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Abul Kalam Azad, Jatiya Press Club president Shafiqur Rahman, its general secretary Farida Yesmin and several newspaper editors including Editor of Kaler Kantho Imdadul Haq Milon, Editor of Bangladesh Protidin Noim Nizam and Acting Editor of the daily Jugantor Saiful Alam joined the meeting, followed by a dinner.

President of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Molla Jalal and former president of Parliament Journalists' Association Ashis Saikat spoke on the occasion along with the information minister and the premier's media adviser.

President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin conducted the programme.
