Nur-e-Chashma passes away

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmood’s mother-in-law Nur-e-Chashma passed away on Saturday evening in the capital’s Adabar area.

She was 85.

She left behind four daughters, two sons, sons-in-law and a host of relatives to mourn her death.

She was wife of late food controller Fazlur Rahman, mother of former secretary Razia Begum and mother-in-law of former Awami League lawmaker ABM Taleb Ali.

She was buried at Martyred Intellectuals’ Graveyard.
