Nine held for cheating service seekers at Khulna BRTA

Detectives of Khulna Metropolitan Police yesterday arrested nine persons over cheating service seekers at Bangladesh Road Transport Authority's (BRTA) regional office in Khulna.

The arrestees are Raihan Hossain, Monjur Ahmed, Sakir Hossain, Md Shahidul Islam, Rahmat, Beg Iqbal, Ashiqur Rahman, Zahidul Islam, and Shiraj Khan.

They were arrested as they took money from people with a false promise to ensure service for them, said Sheikh Moniruzzaman, additional deputy police commissioner of KMP.
