New radiotherapy machine for CMCH

Operation of a new radiotherapy machine will start at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) today.

Chattogram city Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin is scheduled to inaugurate the equipment that has been installed at a cost of Tk 10.5 crore, said Brig Gen Mohsen Uddin Ahmed, director of CMCH.

The new radiotherapy machine has been procured after the previously-installed equipment went out of order in 2015, he said.
