Nat'l Youth Day today

The National Youth Day will be observed across the country today, in a befitting manner.

The theme of this year is “Youth awaken to build Bangladesh, Banghabandhu's Bangladesh”.

Different government and non-government organisations have taken elaborate programmes to mark the day.

President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have issued separate messages on the occasion.

A programme arranged by the youth and sports ministry will be held at Banghabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in observance of the day. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the programme as chief guest.
