Man's decomposed body found

Police recovered the decomposed body of a man from the sea beach at Bhatiari in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram yesterday.

The identity of the victim could not be ascertained immediately, said Sub-inspector Md Abdul Alim of Sitakunda Police Station.

The body was first spotted by a local watchman of the union after it washed ashore at 1:30pm, said the SI.

There were no marks of injury on the body, said the policeman, adding that it was sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.

No further details were known immediately.
