Freedom fighter Habibar Rahman dies

Habibar Rahman, a freedom fighter, passed away at his Barunagaon residence in Thakurgaon Sadar upazila on Saturday, aged 75.

He left behind his wife, two sons and three daughters and a host of relatives to mourn his death.

He was buried with state honour at Cheradangi village graveyard in the upazila after namaz-e-janaza yesterday.

Officials, socio-political leaders paid tribute to him by placing wreaths at his coffin before burial.
