College teacher killed in road accident

A college teacher was killed in a road accident on Rajshahi-Naogaon highway in Mohonpur upazila of Rajshahi yesterday, police said.

The deceased was identified as Md Nuruzzman, 36, a lecturer of Altafunnesa Government College in Joypurhat.

The incident took place when a tractor ran him over and killing him on the spot, said Officer-in-Charge Abul Hossain of Mohonpur Police Station.
