China offers medical visa to Bangladeshis

The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka will offer medical visa for Bangladeshi citizens to avail “high quality and reliable treatment” in China, in an effort to further boost people-to-people contacts between Bangladesh and China.

The embassy made the disclosure in an event at a city hotel, marking the formal inauguration of medical treatment in China.

Speaking as chief guest, Chinese Ambassador to Dhaka Zhang Zuo said, “We want to boost people-to-people contact between Bangladesh and China under the Road and Belt Initiative.”

He handed over formal invitation to 20 preselected patients to get treatment fully funded by the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka.

Bangladesh-based Irving Group is facilitating the treatment of these patients at a hospital in Kunming.c
