Badiul Alam's 16th death anniversary today

Today is the 16th death anniversary of Advocate Badiul Alam, a freedom fighter and politician.

To commemorate the occasion, “Advocate Badiul Alam Memorial Foundation” will organise a milad mahfil at Chandanaish upazila of Chattogram today, said a press release.

Born in 1926, he was educated in Calcutta University and Dhaka University.

During Liberation War, he was the Awami League Regional President in Chattogram and later became the south division President of Socialist Party in Chattogram. He was elected President of the Lawyer's Association in 1981.
