8th Bangla Olympiad on Feb 23

International Hope School Bangladesh will organise the 8th Bangla Olympiad, an inter-school cultural competition, on February 23 with a view to promoting practice of Bangla among students of English medium schools.

The school has been organising the Olympiad since 2011, commemorating February 21 -- International Mother Language Day.

Free registration for schools will continue till February 13 at banglaolympiad.org, said organisers at a press conference held at Dhaka Reporters' Unity in the capital on Monday.

The Olympiad will be held at the School's Uttara campus in Dhaka from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The awards of the competition will be handed out on March 2.
