Missing girl found dead

A seven-year-old girl, who went missing on Wednesday, was found dead in a pond at Bilsha in Gurudaspur upazila of Natore yesterday afternoon.

A second-grader, Khadiza Khatun, daughter of Manirul Islam, went missing after she went to play near her house, said Dilip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Gurudaspur Police Station.

Police yesterday detained three neighbours of the family for interrogation.

Khadiza might have been killed after sexual assault, suspected police.
