Man hurt by stone hurled at running train in capital

An Awami League leader was injured when miscreants threw stones at a running train in the capital early yesterday.

A stone suddenly hit the left brow bone of Jahirul Islam Chowdhury, president of AL Boalkhali municipality unit, some 15 minutes after the Chattagram-bound mail train left Kamalapur railway station, said Assistant Sub-Inspector Alauddin Talukdar of the police outpost at Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he was given primary treatment.
