Jubo League factional clash injures 35

At least 35 people, including three policemen, were injured as a factional clash between two groups of Jubo League broke out during a rally marking its 45th founding anniversary in Hatia upazila yesterday.

Police said the upazila unit of Jubo League arranged the rally. However, another faction of local Jubo League swooped on them, which triggered the clash.

Police fired around 100 rubber bullets and lobbed 10 tear gas canisters to bring the situation under control, said Hatia police.
