IUB organises book launching ceremony

Two books were launched at a programme held on the campus of Independent University of Bangladesh (IUB) in the city yesterday.

“Transatlantic transition: Back to the global future?” by Prof Imtiaz A Hussain and “21st Century High Politics in the Indo-Pacific and the Bay of Bengal” by Prof Mohd Aminul karim were unveiled at a book launching ceremony organised by IUB.

Hossain Zillur Rahman, executive chairman of Power and Participation Research Centre (PPRC) and former adviser to a caretaker government, attended the programme as the chief guest while IUB VC Prof M Omar Rahman was also present. 

Associate Editor of The Daily Star Brig Gen (retd) Shahedul Anam Khan and Prof ASM Ali Ashraf of Dhaka University's international relations department reviewed the books.
