Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu is expected to visit Bangladesh in June this year to hold talks on promoting bilateral trade and commerce between the two neighbouring countries.

Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali called on Prabhu at his office in New Delhi to convey an invitation on behalf of Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed yesterday.

Prabhu accepted the invitation and said he would make a visit to Dhaka in June, said an official at the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi.
