India to support Rohingyas during cyclone season
Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla yesterday said his country will support Bangladesh to help Rohingyas during cyclone season.
The envoy was at a meeting with Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya at secretariat, said an official release.
During the meeting, Maya said about 25,000 Rohingya families will have to be evacuated as the camps may get damaged by storms in the forthcoming cyclone season.
He sought the Indian envoy's support in this regard and for building new shelter centers.
