Foreign minister lauds UN for support

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali has lauded the role of the UN bodies for standing beside Bangladesh with humanitarian assistance and also appreciated the recent statement of the UN Security Council on Rohingya crisis.

He stated this when the newly appointed Resident Coordinator of the United Nations Mia Seppo presented her credentials to the foreign minister at State Guest House Padma yesterday.

The new UNRC handed over a letter from UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
