FNB elects 19-member executive board for three years
The annual general meeting of the Federation of NGOs in Bangladesh (FNB) elected a 19-member national executive board for the next three years.
Presided over by FNB Chairperson Dr Muhammad Ibrahim, the meeting on Saturday discussed previous year's activities, financial report and current year's work plan, said a press release yesterday.
The newly elected members are: SN Kairy (Brac), Zakir Hossain (BURO Bangladesh), AHM Nouman (DORP), Md Fayzer Rahman (ASA), Dr Salima Rahman (RDRS), M Ahsanur Rahman (Dhaka Ahsania Mission), Syeda Rizwana Hasan (BELA), Md Abdul Awal (CDF), Iqbal Ahmed (Padakhep), Aftabur Rahman Jafree (Ghashful), Mozibur Rahman (SDS), MM Anower Ullah (BRAVE), Sk Arif Ahmed (ECO Society), Minara Begum (ASSB), Bhagabati Ghosh (Development Society), Md Lutfor Rahman Labu (RAS), Choudhury Md Masum (SANGRAM), Rafiqul Alam Mollah, (Unnayan Sangha) and Md Foysal Rahaman (Protibandi Unnayan Sangstha).
The meeting also re-elected the advisory committee with Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, KCMG, as its convener. Other members are Shafiqual Haque Chowdhury, president of ASA; Khushi Kabir, coordinator of Nijera Kori; and Kazi Rafiqul Alam, president of Dhaka Ahsania Mission.
