Fire guts 10 houses in Ctg

Fire gutted 10 tin-roofed houses in Al-karan area of Chittagong city yesterday morning.

The fire was originated from an oil-lamp in one of the houses around 6:50am and soon spread to the nearby others, said Fire Service sources.

Fire fighters rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze around 8:35am. They estimated the damage at around Tk 5 lakh.
