EU team on 3-day visit to northern districts

Five heads of mission of European countries in Dhaka are now on a three-day visit to see the northern districts as part of the Foreign Ministry's “Visit Bangladesh” programme.

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali is accompanying the EU Delegation, led by Ambassador and Head of EU Delegation Pierre Mayaudon, on the visit to the districts of Nilphamari, Dinajpur and Panchagarh.

Other members of the delegation include British High Commissioner Alison Blake, German Ambassador Dr Thomas Prinz, Ambassador of the Netherlands Leoni Margaretha Cuelenaere and Ambassador of Denmark Mikael Hemniti Winther, said a Foreign Ministry press release.

The ministry organised the trip for the diplomats to show them the changes that the northern districts have undergone in the last seven years or more.
