'Ekattorer Muktijoddha' launched

A new platform titled, “Ekattorer Muktijoddha”, [the freedom fighters of '71] was launched yesterday.

On the occasion, its authorities held a press conference at the capital's Jatiya Press Club.

Writer Abir Ahad, who holds the post of convener, is also the chief of the platform.

He said a 71-member central committee of the platform was formed. District-level committees will be constituted later, he added.

Abul Bashar is a member secretary of the platform.
