DU among 350 best universities in Asia

Dhaka University (DU) has been listed among the 350 best universities of Asia, according to the Times Higher Education World University Ranking-2018.

The London-based organisation confirmed this through a congratulatory letter to DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman yesterday.

“We will work hard to increase the quality of education and research to uphold the dignity of the university,” the VC told The Daily Star.

The ranking will be released in the Asia Universities Summit to be held on February 5-7 in China.c
