Drowned worker's body recovered

The body of a construction worker, who drowned in a lake at Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong on Tuesday, was finally recovered yesterday morning.

Mostakim, 26, son of Abdus Sukkur, of Majlispur of Kishoreganj, went missing after he got into the pond for bathing on Tuesday afternoon, said police sources. Mostakim was working at a project under the Chittagong District Administration.

The body was handed over to the family without autopsy.
