Salim president of Chittagong Seniors' Club

Dr Salim Akhter Chowdhury was elected as the president of Chittagong Seniors' Club Ltd for the term of 2017-2018.

Manik Bablu, current vice-president of the club, was re-elected for the tenure, while five others were elected as members of the club's managing committee, said a press release.

The club authorities organised an election after its 90th annual general meeting at the club's auditorium on Thursday, according to the release.

The managing committee members are -- Mohammad Abbas, Prof Jasim Uddin, Taher-ul-Alam, MA Kabir Milky and Yakub Chowdhury.
