Around 200 stray dogs were vaccinated against six viruses including rabbis, rotavirus and influenza in a campaign launched by the students of the Asian University for Women (AUW) in Chittagong city yesterday.

Earlier, the students held a press conference in this regard at a restaurant.

Mandy Indrani Mukhuti, founder president of AUW Animal Welfare Club, said there were around 700 stray dogs in the city. "Taking preventive measure is the best way to combat rabbis," she said.
