Disaster risk reduction exhibit held

A photography exhibition on disaster risk reduction (DRR), the first of its kind in Bangladesh, has been held at the art gallery of Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in the capital to raise awareness on disaster preparedness.

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and SEEDS Asia, a Japan-based organisation, organised the three-day exhibition that ended yesterday.

The exhibition was followed by a competition titled "Tell Us Your Story" launched in November last that was open to professionals and amateurs.
